I was so delighted to work with Amy to capture some photos to advertise her Sound Baths at SunFyr Barns. I have attended a sound bath by Amy before and they are wonderful. It was great to be able to see her at work this time and see how she creates the magic. She invited a group of her regulars to come along to a shorter version of a sound bath in order to the get the photos and have more control over the set up and to ensure that everyone there was comfortable appearing on camera. (Thank you so much to them all!) This is a great way of getting photos of you in action without the disruption of a session that folks have paid for. I try my best to be as invisible as possible but, particularly with experiences that are sensory and are wellbeing focused, it’s hard to capture sensitively and not disrupt the experience. It also meant we could capture the whole thing from set up to close down, which is harder to do in the flurry of activity that tends to happen just before a session. I am so happy with the photos and have started to see Amy using them and it’s so exciting.
